2008 will be a year of more and more pouring out of the Holy Spirit. More souls coming to their Savior, more intercessory worship, more prodigals returning, more leaders and worshippers arising out of the youth, more spiritual soil being tilled in the spirit, more ears opened and hearts crying out to the Ancient of Days.
The gift of tears is returning to the church. Not some "made up dramatics," but true, heart felt compassion and weeping for souls.
In the past God brought tears to the church through "Renewal". The church weeping and hurting over their own sins and pains. In 2008 the tears will weep for lost souls. The tears of this year will be to the external hurting souls around us, the abandoned, the depressed, the years of internal tears are being changed into external weeping.
Ears are opening in 2008, freedom will be experienced
This is the year that God will open the ears of His Church in our region. He is preparing us to hear is "Still Small Voice". 2008 is a time to press on into restoration of the passion for the passion of Christ within us (Eph. 2:4-7). This will result in further expansion of the vision of 24 hour intercessory/worship centers across the globe and certainly into the greater Chico area. You will see more and more of God's people being awakened to intercessory worship. They will cry out for a place and cry out to see His face more and more and more! He speaks to us as He did to David in I Chron 15, "Prepare a place for Him to dwell!" The Lord is pressing into the Cities of Chico, Oroville, Paradise, Corning,Red Bluff, Marysville/Yuba City and beyond. We will cry out to our "first love". Those who have lost it, will have their love, passion and zeal for the Bridegroom rekindled and will not walk away from it! The local Church facilities in 2008 will begin to notice that they have not enough room to hold the masses. Some local churches will move to multiple services. This move of multiplication will continue and advance into 2009 and beyond.
This is also a day of revenge of the Lord on behalf of the intercessors who have wept, face down on the floor, over the condition of the church, and continue to do so in 2008.
Zeph 3:18-20: (18) "I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden. (19) Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, And gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame In every land where they were put to shame. (20) At that time I will bring you back, Even at the time I gather you; For I will give you fame and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I return your captives before your eyes," Says the LORD.
Youth Will Rise in 2008/09!
God has marked our young people for His purposes! They will NOT be stopped! You can expect them to continue to break forth in 2008! The youth will come forth in their own fashion, and God will pour out His spirit on, in and through them(even the jeweled noses are signs on them that they are marked for His purposes!) This will have dynamic effect on all generations! Ezekiel 16:12: "I put a jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head."

(12) Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (13) Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. (14) Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the elders. (15) Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. (16) Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
FREEDOM IS COMING, EARS ARE OPENING, PASSION FOR THE KINGDOM IS RISING, RESSURECTION POWER AND MIRACLES IN 2008 and beyond!
Prayer for this prophetic word to be released
Lord of the past, Lord of the present, Lord of the future, we as a region of believers, cry out in intercession for YOU! Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy on us. You love us and are constantly speaking and always drawing us to you!
We place ourselves in subjection to YOU. We volunteer ourselves to Your kingdom and your passion for this region and beyond. We ask for these prophetic words to come forth. We will pray them in and walk them out in Your power. We will sing of Your praise. Forever God You are faithful, forever God You are strong, forever God You are with us, for Your love endures forever! AMEN!
