Lighthouse is committed to uplifting and serving the local Church in the Chico area. These words are meant to be an encouragement to the body and should be judged according to scripture and the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:29).

2008 is a year of new birth and new life coming. It is the beginning of unity that only God can bring. One of the characteristics of the true Church is that they walk in love and unity. We will begin to see walls come down that seemed impossible. Walls of denominations and even walls between Jew and gentile will begin to crumble. It will be by the Spirit of the Lord that this happens (Zechariah 4:6). We will see the beginnings of networks flourish this year. Networks are the connections of members of the body according to gifts and callings and relationships rather than denominations. The Father is placing troops into ranks and it will be important to know whom you stand beside in the army. There will divine appointments to bring people into kingdom relationships.

1 Corinthians 1:12-13 I say, that every one of you that says, I am of Paul, I am of Apollos, or I am of Cephas, I Christ divided?

This will be a time of the five-fold ministry rising out of places of death. Just as in the time of Elijah, there are prophets hidden in cave waiting for the time when they will appear. I saw God preparing his army in the secret place and they will begin to appear in the strength of the Lord. It is time for the secret warriors to arise and it is time for the intercessors to come out of the closet.

This is a year of Grace and God's power will be displayed in dire situations. Those who have learned to lean on God in the secret place will rise to find victory through the power of God and bring deliverance.

Although many trees have withered and died, or appeared to have died, many new sprouts are coming up. Beyond the trees is a new dawn where the Church walks in victory. I see a woman walking on the water with her head covered. A praying Church will walk in victory. The body is going through many trials that test our faith. It is so important to press into the Spirit at this time. Keep in mind that when the enemy is working overtime it means that God is about to so something big.

Genesis 32:24-28 Jacob was there alone and a man wrestled with him until dawn.

The Church is coming to a season of victory, as are the people of Israel. It was in the dawn that Israel ceased wrestling with the angel. The time of wrestling is nearly complete. We will begin to see a large number of Jews come to the Lord.

I saw two trees that were stripped of their bark. I said, "Lord, what are these?" He said that these are the house of Israel and the Church (protestant and catholic). The trees I saw were ready to die but then came to life again as one tree. God will bring a true unity and power of the Spirit to the body of Christ, but first there will be a shaking. That tree that once seemed dead will rise to life again so that God may be glorified. God will be glorified because people will know it could only have been an act of God.

We are coming to a new time when the Jews will be awakened to the Messiah. Prepare to embrace a great harvest of Jew and gentile believers. It is God's turn to move (Zechariah 4, Revelation 22:1-2, Romans 11).

Romans 11:25 - Blindness has happened in part to Israel, until the fullness of the gentiles has come.

Many have been sensing we are on the verge of a great move of God. A great F7 storm is brewing over Northern California. The storm will come with great force. It is a storm of the move of God's Spirit. It is an F7 move of God, which is a supernatural, beyond natural move of God. Many will be swept off their feet as if taken unaware, but there will also be those who are functioning in the storm.

The Father is preparing His people to walk in His presence. There is an army rising who can carry the anointing to the hurting ones who cry out. They bring healing, miracles, and divine answers to questions. They walk in the grace of God and are held up by His power. Grace is power under control, and though these won't seek to control the Spirit, they will be in the control of the Spirit. It is time to learn to stand in His presence. This comes as we understand the way God moves.

Jeremiah 30:20-24 - ...behold the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind.

God is moving quickly!!! There is such a need in the days to come to flow with the leading of the Spirit. It is to trust more in the word of God and the Spirit of Yahweh than our intellect. He is taking us places we won't understand until we are there. Fasting and radical obedience are important (Revelation 22:20).

There is a great call on the US for mission and giving. I see a battle for this destiny, but the call remains, and this is a year of bridging nations. There are twelve bridges bridging the US to the world. This is a time of key missions connections. As a nation we must not forget missions and giving. The enemy would try to get us to be introspective and look at our own problems. It is then that we will lose our identity. If we look outward then the Father will bring blessing.

I have been burdened this year to pray for the rise of watchmen and watchtowers. I remembered Song 8:8, which speaks of the maturity of the bride being related to watchmen on the wall. Watchmen will rise to build the walls. It is time for the towers in the city of God to be built. God is raising up Nehemiahs who have strategy to build the wall and raise watchmen. They will also have strategy to rebuild the tabernacle of David, as did Nehemiah, and have strategy to provide for the Levites.

These are times when third Heaven revelations will be important and common. There is a call to rise to a higher level of vision. Watchmen have the vision to be able to warn of approaching enemies and also to announce when the King is coming. This is a time of great revelation in the body. This is maturity in the body that has their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. It is time to watch and pray. (Song of Solomon 8:8, Nehemiah 8:8, Nehemiah 13:10-13)

Nehemiah 8:8 They read in the book of the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

Though these are times of trial they are wonderful times. The Father is getting ready for something big. Prepare your hearts. Let us build the wall so that we be no more a reproach (Nehemiah 2:17). These are days that will be marked with joy, and joy will be a sign, for the Lord is rebuilding the wall (Nehemiah 8:9-10).
